The image is taken from a model, "Robochimp", created by the Primate Evolution and Morphology Group (PREMOG), part of the Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Liverpool.

This model is being developed in order to show that SIMM models are compatible with empirical data.

Shoulder Model
A shoulder model as visualized in SIMM. Included in this model are the clavicle, scapula and humerus (the thorax has been omitted). All 95 muscle lines in the shoulder model are shown.

This shoulder model has been created by Dr. Frans C.T. van der Helm and Leonard A. Rozendaal, of the Shoulder Research Group at the Delft University of Technology.
