Hip Animation
This animation is a model of the left hip of the original fossil skeleton of Lucy. Lucy belongs to the hominid species Australopithecus afarensis and is 3.18 million years old.

This model has been created by the Primate Evolution and Morphology Group (PREMOG), part of the Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Liverpool (England).
