Dynamic Gait Simulation
This animation shows the results of a dynamic simulation of gait. The 3D, muscle-driven model of the lower extremities and trunk was optimized to perform a 2D simulation of a gait cycle in the sagittal plane. The model was validated by comparing the optimization results with measurements from experimentally recorded gait data."

This simulation was developed by Morten Schaarup at the University of Copenhagen. Details can be found in:
