We have two tryout versions of SIMM available, each with different purposes:
- SIMM Tryout. Request this version if you want to learn SIMM. The SIMM Tryout does not let you load or save models, but includes three models built in. It has six tutorials that show various animation, editing and plotting features, plus demonstrations of the optional modules. Half of the GUI tools are enabled. There is no time limit on the SIMM Tryout.
- SIMM Viewer. Request this version if you want to view data created by a colleague. The SIMM Viewer allows you to load any model, but the model must be an archive file created by a full version of SIMM (version 4.2.1 or later). None of the editing tools are enabled and you cannot save models. It comes with two tutorials. There is no time limit on the SIMM Viewer. The SIMM Viewer is available only to those who have a proven relationship with a current SIMM user.
