MusculoGraphics, Inc. is a software development firm specializing in visualization, simulation, and virtual reality technologies for medical applications. The company was formed in 1992 to help satisfy the growing need for highly accurate computer models of the human body. Traditional biomedical engineering analysis tools simply
present static displays of data. MusculoGraphics' products provide dynamic, visually compelling representations of
anatomical structures that give insight into the body's underlying function.
MusculoGraphics uses its expertise in biomedical engineering, computer graphics, medical imaging, and human body dynamics to provide high-fidelity biomechanical modeling software for a variety of applications. The company currently markets software packages that are used throughout the world to analyze the functional capabilities of humans and animals. MusculoGraphics also develops products for computer-assisted surgery and medical training in collaboration with industry, academic, and government partners.
